| November 3, 2009 12-year-old RI girl dies from H1N1 virus

(NECN: Lincoln, RI) - Officials at the Rhode Island Health Department confirm that a 12-year-old student at Lincoln Middle School has died from the H1N1 virus.
Health officials say 12-year-old Skyla J. Reposa-Alves was admitted to the Hasbro Children's Hospital with flu-like symptoms this past weekend. She did have underlying health issues.
Her mother is urging all parents to have their children vaccinated.
A 12-year-old girl from Bristol died from H1N1 last week.
