(NECN/KYW: Philadelphia, Penn.) - A commuter train caught fire during rush hour Wednesday morning in Philadelphia, Penn.
The fire added more complications to commutes already hampered by the city's transit strike.
The blaze started around 7am and flames could be seen shooting from the front of the train almost instantly.
Emergency workers worked diligently to contain the fire quickly.
The train was heading east from the Overbrook station in West Philadelphia toward the Amtrak station in Center City. No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
