(NECN/ABC) - Just one more day for candidates across the country to stump for votes ahead of Tuesday election day.

Vice President Joe Biden joined Democratic nominee Bill Owens on the campaign trail during the final hours of northern New York's 23rd Congressional District race.

Owens is running against Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman for the seat.

Republican Assemblywoman Dierdre Scozzafava dropped out of the race Saturday and now Hoffman and Owens are scrambling to pick up last minute votes in the district, which includes all or part of 11 counties in New York's rural north.
