Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered Israel's military to prepare for a "significant expansion" of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip on Friday. Israeli tanks and gunboat took down around 100 targets in Gaza overnight with around 50,000 soldiers making their into the Palestinian enclave, fighting Hamas as they advanced. Health officials said 27 Palestinians were killed and around 200 wounded after Israel launched their ground offensive on Thursday.
