A woman was killed after crossing the center line and colliding with a tractor trailer in Jefferson, New Hampshire, on Thursday.
Police say the crash happened around 9:58 a.m. on Route 2.
Investigation revealed that a 2013 Toyota Corolla driven by Elizabeth Davis, 21, of Shelburne, crossed over to the opposite lane while traveling west. This resulted in a head-on collision with a 1999 Kentworth tractor trailer.
Davis died on the scene as a result of extensive injuries.
The crash is still being investigated.
New Hampshire DOT helped with traffic control while Route 2 was reduced to one lane for more than five hours to allow for the removal of vehicles and roadway cleanup.
