Members NECN's Boston Business Editors roundtable discussed the efforts by Boston officials to bring the 2024 Olympic Games to Beantown.
Dozens of Olympians gathered this week to campaign for the summer Games in the city.
George Donnelly of the Boston Business Journal says that John Fish of Suffolk Construction has suggested Boston has a 75 percent chance of getting the U.S. nod in January.
Shirley Leung of the Boston Globe says that there should be a public forum about holding the Olympics in Boston because the public has various opinions about it.
"I feel like a lot of stuff is done behind secret doors and I think that it would be nice to hear from the citizens of the Commonwealth about what they would like to say about the Olympics and their concerns beyond the tweeters because I do think we have a very good chance of becoming the U.S. nod," Leung said.
In addition, the editors discussed the future of the Greater Boston Chamber once Paul Guzzi retires.
