Two homes were damaged on Sunday morning following a 3-alarm fire in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood.
According to Boston Fire, the blaze broke out at 7 a.m. at 48 Hazleton St. and quickly escalated.
The fire at the two-and-a-half story home was safely put out but not before causing an estimated $400,000 in damage to the left side.
The home next door also suffered some damage.
No injuries were reported.
The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
