Manchester Police arrested six people during a prostitution sting on Friday.
Shaun Taylor, 36, of Manchester, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. in the area of Manchester and Union streets after police said he approached an undercover officer and offered to pay her for sex. He was charged with prostitution and is scheduled to appear in Manchester District Court on March 17.
Jeffrey Prenoveau, 27, of Hooksett, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. in the area of Manchester and Maple streets after police said he offered to pay an undercover officer for sex. The female detective was walking on the street at the time. Prenoveau was charged with prostitution and also held on a 72-hour hold for a probation/parole violation.
Eric Lescault, 29, of Pembroke, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. at Maple and Manchester streets after he allegedly offered the same undercover officer money for sexual services. He was charged with prostitution and placed on a 72-hour hold for a probation/parole violation.
At 8:20 p.m., a male detective operating an undercover vehicle arrested Amy Cashman, 48, of Manchester. He stopped his car on Merrimack Street near Lincoln Street when Cashman approached and they engaged in a brief conversation. Cashman allegedly told the detective she would perform a sex act for a specific dollar amount. She entered his vehicle and they drove to a prearranged area on Tarrytown Road where she was placed into custody without incident. She was charged with prostitution and released on $500 personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear in Manchester District Court on March 17.
Grant Raymond, 22, of Manchester was arrested after police said he stopped a female undercover officer in the area of Manchester and Maple streets and offered her money for sexual services. He pulled into a nearby parking lot and was arrested by uniformed officers. He was charged with prostitution and released on $500 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester District Court on March 17.
Carrie Randall, 26, of Manchester, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. after she allegedly approached a plain clothes detective in the area of Merrimack and Beech streets and offered to perform sex acts for a specific dollar amount. She entered his vehicle and they were stopped on Tarrytown Road, where she was taken into custody without incident. She was charged with prostitution and released on $500 personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear in Manchester District Court on March 17.
