Dartmouth Police Arrest 3 in Connection to Car Burglaries

Three men were arrested in connection to a string of car burglaries in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Dartmouth police arrested 18-year-old Xavier Kennedy, 20-year-old Jordan Bunting, and 19-year-old Orion Taylor on Saturday.

Each man was charged with five counts of felony breaking and entering, four counts of larceny and two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime. All three men are from New Bedford.

Police arrived at Stephen Street around 11:20 p.m. after receiving a call that three men were breaking into cars. Shortly after, an officer found Kennedy, Bunting and Taylor walking near a McDonald's on Dartmouth Street, according to police. The three allegedly ran away, but were later found by a group of several officers.

Several stolen items were recovered after the arrest, police said.

It's unclear if any of the men have an attorney or when they'll be arraigned on the charges.
