Conservative radio talk show host Howie Carr was involved in a car accident on Wednesday.
Boston's WKRO host was injured, but is expected to be okay.
Entercom Boston released a statement regarding the accident:
"The Republican surge that swept across America was something Howie predicted and so urgently wanted to share with each of you on the air throughout the week. However, as a precaution, Howie will remain off the air and under observation to ensure a full recovery with no complications," the statement read in part.
The statement also asks listeners to keep Carr in their thoughts.
