A man accused of beating a disabled man in a wheelchair faced a judge in Boston Friday.
Marques Bell, 23, of Dorchester pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and battery on a disabled person, which allegedly happened Aug. 23.
The Suffolk district attorney's office says prosecutors recommended $5,000 for bail; however, Bell was released on the $500 he posted after his arrest.
No other details were immediately available.
