A man who was at large for three years was arrested at an apartment in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, after state police got a tip on his whereabouts.
Authorities say 38-year-old Thomas Martin was wanted on a federal warrant for cocaine distribution.
He was arrested Wednesday on Wallace Street, where police say he attempted to escape by jumping off a second-floor balcony.
A trooper grabbed him and held him in place until other officers arrived.
Martin was not seriously injured.
No one answered the door when necn stopped by. The landlord said Martin does not live in the apartment and he was just visiting for his child's birthday party.
According to the landlord, the residents of the apartment do not cause any problems.
