One woman was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out in East Providence, Rhode Island, on Friday morning.
According to necn-affiliate WJAR, firefighters were on scene at South Blossom Street around 5 a.m. after a fire broke out in the triple-decker building.
The fire was put out around 6:30 a.m.
All occupants were able to escape safely but the woman was transported for smoke inhalation.
Firefighters will continue to remain on scene to monitor hot spots.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
