Patriots Touch Down in Kansas City for AFC Championship

The Patriots boarded buses at Gillette Stadium, drove to the airport, hopped on the team plane and took off for Kansas City on Saturday afternoon.

It's been a season of ups and downs.

"Oh, it's been a struggle," Nolan Donovan, of Worcester, said.

"At the beginning of the season, I was a little bit worried," Kim Jardim, of Marshfield, said.

But Patriots fans say they're confident that the team will make it to the Super Bowl.

"Not even close. I'm not worried about it at all," Chris Julian, who is visiting from North Carolina, said.

NBC10 found fans taking one last swing through the pro shop to get some more gear before Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Chiefs.

"I needed the 'New England vs. Everybody' stuff," Jess Hilemn, of Providence, Rhode Island, said.

"We're looking for a Van Noy jersey now," Jardim said.

Nolan Donovan predicts the Patriots are going to beat the Chiefs, but it won't be easy.

"I think Patrick Mahomes' going to bring it, but I think the Patriots can stop them," Donovan said.

If the Patriots do win, they will be going to Atlanta for the Super Bowl on Feb. 3.
