Police in Waltham, Massachusetts, say emergency crews are on the scene of a 75-year-old pedestrian trapped under a trailer.
The incident happened just after 9 a.m. in the area of School Street and Francis Street. Police say the female pedestrian was pinned by a trailer which became unsecured from a truck which was hauling it.
The woman suffered a broken leg. She was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle is a 41-year-old Randolph man. He will be charged with driving with a suspended license and defective equipment; police say more charges are pending an investigation. His name has not been released.
