Shooting Victim in Worcester Found with Crack in Hospital

Circumstances behind a Friday night shooting in Worcester remain under investigation after a bag of what appeared to be crack cocaine fell out of the pocket of the victim in the hospital.

The 21-year-old victim, who'd been shot once in the back, was uncooperative with authorities at St. Vincent's Hospital. Worcester Police were ultimately able to locate a crime scene in the area of 80 Outlook Drive in Worcester.

The bag of what is believed to be crack cocaine was located on the floor by hospital staff and subsequently given to an officer. The victim will be issued a summons to appear in court.
