A small, amateur-built plane has crashed in Berkley, Massachusetts, after investigators say he lost control while landing on a strip of grass.
The weather was not a factor when 80-year-old Randall Murray crashed an aircraft that he apparently built himself.
Murray was injured and transported to a hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No one else was on board.
"He settled here about 20 years ago, and he's an engineer. He used to fly out of here," said neighbor Warren Sylvester. "It's happened to him before, I believe, and he's recovered OK."
