Arts & Entertainment (NECN: New Haven, Conn.) - Hogwarts could have some competition. This fall, Harvard joined the ranks of more than 200 universities that play "Quidditch", a fictional sport concocted by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.
Team co-founders include Stacy Rush and Alana Biden, the niece of Vice President Joe Biden.
They received a $600 club sports grant to purchase equipment. Today, the team took on archrival Yale University. Yale was victorious in the match.

Arts & Entertainment (NECN/ABC) - After 25 years of Hosting "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Oprah will say goodbye.
She became a national name in 1986, reshaping the talk show format. In the process, she became one of the most wealthy and powerful entertainers in the world. She did so, partly, by sharing some of her most intimate struggles with millions of viewers.
Her show was rated number one for 23 consecutive seasons.
Oprah has been busy with plans to launch her own cable network -- The Oprah Winfrey Network -- a joint venture with Discovery Networks. Whether she'll have her own show is not yet known.

Arts & Entertainment (NECN) - Folk singer Tom Smith of Dedham, Massachusetts, is this week's musical guest on the NECN Coffeehouse.
Tom plays the acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin and the harmonica.
In this clip, Tom is singing "Turn Right Then Move On."

The Twilight Saga: New Moon
The popular book series returns to the big screen in a film that returns stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene. For those who do not fawn over this series, there is no point in seeing 'New Moon' without having seen the original.

Arts & Entertainment (NECN: Chicago, Ill.) - Oprah Winfrey will announce the final date of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" during a live broadcast of the program on Friday, her production company said.
The expected final date of the current incarnation of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is expected to be in 2011.
The show has aired for 25 seasons and seen by an estimated 42 million in the United States.
Some expect Winfrey to begin a new talk show on The Oprah Winfrey network, which is expected to debut in 2011. OWN will replace the Discovery Health Channel and debut in some 74 million homes.

Arts & Entertainment CHICAGO (AP) - Oprah Winfrey's production company says Winfrey
will announce Friday that her talk show will end in 2011 after its
25th season on the air.
Chicago-based Harpo Productions Inc. said Thursday night that
the talk show host will give more details live on the "The Oprah
Winfrey Show" broadcast Friday.
Winfrey started her broadcasting career in Nashville, Tenn., and
Baltimore, Md., before relocating to Chicago in 1984 to host
WLS-TV's morning talk show "A.M. Chicago."
That show was renamed "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 1985.

Arts & Entertainment (NECN) - Tremont Street in Boston, Massachusetts, is about to be buzzing with 200 beautiful voices.
Mystic Chorale is a nonprofit, volunteer-run, community chorus based in Arlington. It was founded in 1989, and to mark its 20th anniversary, this weekend, there is a special concert.
Joining NECN for a preview is chorale director Nick Page.
