(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe
says he's innocent of any alleged wrongdoing.
His comments are in
response to a Boston Globe report that he's the subject of a
federal grand jury investigation into illegal gambling.
O'Keefe
says he's never had any association with gaming. The Globe reports
that authorities are looking into whether O'Keefe protected alleged
bookmakers on Cape Cod.
