Man, Woman Shot Dead in Dedham, Massachusetts

(NECN: Tom Langford, Dedham, Mass.) - A husband and a wife are dead after an overnight shooting in Dedham, Massachusetts.

The homeowners, William and Patricia Spada were killed. Their 26-year-old daughter, Dierdra, was shot in the head and is in critical condition at a hospital.

The shooting took place just after 1:30 a.m.

Rose Lowney cannot believe what happened to her neighbors and friends.

"They were always really nice to me," says Lowney.

Dierdra's boyfriend, who lives in the home, heard the shooting, ran outside and called 911. He told police that William Spada shot his wife and daughter, then turned the gun on himself.

Police say they never responded to any problems at the home. Police and investigators are still on the scene. The scene is described by police as complicated.
