A dispute in a bar led to a fatal shooting in Manchester, New Hampshire, this weekend, the attorney general’s office said.

Manchester police found Timothy Pouliot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds shortly before 12:50 a.m. Saturday outside of The Goat Bar and Grill on Old Granite Street. The 24-year-old was later pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy performed Sunday determined Pouliot died from multiple gunshot wounds; his death was ruled a homicide.

John Delee, a 22-year-old man from Salem, NH, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and reckless conduct.

According to the district attorney, investigators believe an argument inside the bar spilled into a confrontation outside the business, at which point Delee allegedly shot Pouliot multiple times.

Delee is currently being held without bail. He's scheduled to be arraigned at 11 a.m. Monday in Hillsborough Superior Court-Northern District. It wasn't immediately known if he had obtained an attorney.

Anyone who may have witnessed the events leading up to the dispute inside, or who witnessed the confrontation outside, is asked to call Detective Morgan Lovejoy at 603-792-5529, or the Manchester Crimeline at 603-624-4040.

An investigation is ongoing.
