A fire in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston left three people without a home early Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
The fire happened at about 2 a.m. on Dever Street.
The Boston Fire Department said the fire was on the first and second floors of the home.
"This fire could have been a lot worse when companies were forced to use a hydrant from the adjacent [street]," wrote Boston fire on social media. "The hydrant [two] houses from the fire was blocked by a truck parking in front of it."
Boston police did ticket the truck, said the fire department.
No injuries were reported.
