25-year-old Devyn Stone of New Bedford was sentenced on June 1 to 3 to 5 years' imprisonment after pleading guilty to two counts of armed robbery, Fairhaven Police Department, Connecticut, said.
Stone was charged for robbing the Fairhaven Comcast Store in November 2011 while being armed with a handgun.
Stone entered the Comcast building, threatened with a gun and left with an unkown amount of cash.
The robbery suspect first was believed to be a thin white male in his early twenties with blue eyes and blond hair. The description of a suspicious person wearing makeup, who shortly after the robbery was in Walgreens Pharmacy, was similar to the robbery suspect.
Some discarded clothing was found afterwards near the Narragansett Café, which was belived to be left by the robbery suspect. The DNA analysis of the cloths matched them to Stone.
