Crews in New England are working to clean up a wintry mix Wednesday morning and prevent accumulation on the roads.

In Hooksett, New Hampshire, whatever coating of snow was dropped late Tuesday night is almost gone as the snow has switched to rain.

Speeds have been reduced to 45 mph on I-93 north and south.

Some slush has piled up, but mostly the roads are clearing up and are just wet, especially south of Manchester.

Manchester and Hooksett school districts are open with no delays but farther west and north of the area are some delays.

Crews in Massachusetts are focusing on the western side of the state. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation says 465 crews are focused on western and central Massachusetts.
