A Door Dash driver was shot in New Haven on Friday night, according to Yale police.
They said someone in a black four-door sedan shot the driver in the groin in the area of Whitney Avenue and Sachem Street just after 5:30 p.m. and the driver sought medical treatment.
Police said the 45-year-old man from New Haven's injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.
The shooting reportedly stemmed from a road rage incident. Authorities did not release any details about the other driver believed to be involved or the type of vehicle the person had.
The New Haven Police Department is investigating.
