A fire burned through a home in Quincy, Massachusetts, on Thursday, prompting police to urge the public to avoid the area.
They said to avoid Beale Street between Taylor and Pine streets because of the fire.
The fire was seen ripping through the roof of a home.
Eight people who lived in a home, as well as a dog, all made it out safely, firefighters said.
The flames took hours to put out, with hotspots reigniting on the roof.
