The first great white shark of the season has been spotted in Cape Cod Bay.
Captain Tyler Macallister shot video of the shark Monday morning on his boat, the F/V Cynthia C, and posted it to Facebook.
The shark reportedly was a 16-18 foot long female that hung around the boat for 10 minutes.
According to first mate Jeff Richardson, it's not the crew's first encounter with a shark, but they know it's still rare. Richardson also adds the F/V Cynthia is a private boat and are not looking for customers.
