Maine State Police say a Wilton man has been charged with murder in the death of his grandmother.
Police say 22-year-old Dana Craney lived with his grandmother, 67-year-old Joanne Goudreau, whose body was found in the backyard of their mobile home on Saturday afternoon.
Police had been called to the home by relatives to check on the woman's well-being.
Craney was home at the time and taken to the Farmington Police Department for questioning. He was charged with murder Sunday morning and transferred to the Franklin County jail.
Officials there did not know whether he had a lawyer.
Autopsy results cite blunt force trauma to the head as Goudreau's cause of death.
Craney is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Court on Monday.
