A man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Providence, Rhode Island.
Providence police say the incident occurred around 5 a.m. on Admiral Street, near Donnelson, NBC10 Boston affiliate WJAR reports. It's the second homicide in the city this year.
The victim is a 27-year-old. His name has not been released at this time.
According to WJAR, police gathered at the scene later Sunday where they questioned a man in his 20s. He was put in the back seat of a cruiser, and police drove off. The man was released 30 minutes later.
Police say no arrests have been made. The investigation is extremely active.
