Gardner, Massachusetts, police say one person was killed and another was taken to the hospital following an early-morning head-on crash in the city.
Police say a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle collided head-on on Route 140 at about 4:20 a.m. Friday.
The driver of the passenger vehicle died. The operator of the commercial vehicle was taken to UMass Medical Center in Worcester with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers were alone.
No names were released. This accident remains under investigation.
