Police are investigating a fatal crash that took place Wednesday on Cape Cod.
Officials say 79-year-old Robert Froleiks of Yarmouth, Massachusetts, suffered an apparent cardiac arrest in a collision with two other vehicles on Station Avenue in South Yarmouth.
Froleiks was taken to Cape Cod Hospital and pronounced dead.
The drivers of the other two vehicles, Juliette Moroney of Sandwich and Jacqueline Bragdon of Mashpee, were also taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say that Froleiks may have suffered a medical emergency before the crash.
Station Avenue was closed for about two hours after the crash.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
