A body was pulled Thursday from the Connecticut River in Agawam, Massachusetts.
Fire officials tell WWLP that a canoer saw the body around 11:30 a.m. Police and fire crews from Agawam, Longmeadow and West Springfield responded, and the body was recovered early in the afternoon.
The person's identity has not been released, and the death remains under investigation.
