Boston Police Charge 6 Suspects With Robbery, Assault

Boston Police have arrested six individuals on unarmed robbery and assault charges.

Boston Police have arrested six individuals on unarmed robbery and assault charges.

Around 11:10 p.m. on Thursday, Boston Police officers received a report of an unarmed robbery at 1 Aspinwall Road in the city's Dorchester neighborhood.

A victim reported to officers that he was hanging out at a male suspect's home when he was asked to run to the store. As he attempted to leave the house, several suspects dragged him behind the house and assaulted him. They allegedly took his sneakers, iPhone 6 Plus, $500, and a Nike wallet containing personal papers.

A search of the apartment yielded six suspects and all of the stolen items. Officers arrested Randolph Birden, 29, of Mattapan, Darold LLoyd, 40, of Dorchester, Daquan Spriggs, 23, of Roxbury, Dana L. Flemom-Lewis, 22 of Mattapan, Shakeele Scott, 21 of Boston and a 17-year-old male juvenile from Dorchester. All of the suspects were charged with unarmed robbery and assault and battery.
