Police seized a cache of guns, knives and drugs from a Rowley, Massachusetts, home this week.
Rowley Police said they received information two weeks ago that a resident had several illegal guns in his home.
Following an investigation, police executed a search warrant on Thursday at the home of Derek P. Rigol and located three guns, including a rifle reported stolen from Rhode Island, ammunition, a stun gun, brass knuckles, knives and throwing stars. They also found marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs packaged for sale.
Rigol, 35, was arrested and is facing 17 charges, including receiving a stolen firearm, three counts of possession of a firearm without an FID Card, possession of ammunition without an FID Card, two counts of improper storage of a firearm, possession of a stun gun, possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute, possession of a Class E drug with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class E drug, and three counts of carrying a dangerous weapon.
He was held at the Rowley Police Department pending his arraignment in Newburyport District Court on Friday.
Rowley Police said their investigation is ongoing, and they are working closely with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
