Children, Adults Displaced in 2-Alarm House Fire in Dorchester

Nine adults and two children were displaced following a 2-alarm structure fire at a multi-family home in Dorchester.

Nine adults and two children were displaced following an overnight house fire in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.

The 2-alarm inferno was reported just before 2 a.m. at a multi-family home in the area of 60 Topliff St., according to the Boston Fire Department. Upon arrival, firefighters saw flames coming from the first and second floor of the building.

All 11 residents were able to escape the blaze on their own, officials said.

No injuries were reported, but the blaze caused an estimated $400,000 in damages.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
