On Tuesday morning the Sandwich, Mass. Police Department responded to a call for an armed robbery.
According to the police department, officers responded to Cape Auto Repair located at 15 Jan Sebastian Drive.
The suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at employees and then assaulted them.
Employees were able to disarm the suspect and restrain him until police arrived on scene.
Once the officers arrived, Craig Scott, age 42 of Plymouth, Mass. was taken into custody.
He was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Firearm without a License, two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and one count of Assault and Battery.
Scott also had a warrant out for his arrest for unrelated larceny charges and failing to appear in court on September 1.

Scott will be held without bail until a dangerousness hearing March 3 at Barnstable District Court.
