A motorcyclist was killed Friday morning in a crash involving multiple vehicles in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
According to Weymouth police, the accident on Main Street involved a tractor trailer and minivan as well as the motorcyclist, who suffered serious injuries and did not survive.
The circumstance of the crash remains under investigation.
Police closed Route 18 off to both north- and southbound traffic in the area of Nash's Corner as they investigated the incident.
The highway was reopened for travel around 2 p.m.
The name of the victim is being withheld as the family can be identified.
