Mark Wahlberg was on the set of "Patriots Day" in Quincy, Mass. on Wednesday afternoon.
Filming took place on Pontiac Road, right off of Sea Street.
Wahlberg is set to play a detective in the film.
John Goodman will play Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.
Parts of the movie will be filmed in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Peabody, Massachusetts, and on MIT's campus.
