Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, Massachusetts Dismissed Early After Bullet Found

The bullet was found in one of the hallways

Students at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, Mass., were sent home early Friday afternoon after a bullet was found in one of the school hallways.

According to the Bolton Police Department a .22 caliber bullet was found around 9:20 a.m.

Superintendent Curtis Bates added that a student brought the bullet to the principal's office who then notified police.

Police responded to the school and checked the campus.

They say there were no threats made and there is no immediate threat to the public.

Bates and the Bolton Police Department decided to release the students early so a thorough search of the building could be completed with the help of the Massachusetts State Police K-9s.
