The International School of Boston announced Saturday a gathering in support of Paris scheduled for noon Sunday at the Boston Common.
According to to the school's website, the Consul General of France and his team will be participating in the event.
The Archdiocese of Boston, along with the Parish of the Cathedral of Holy Cross and members of the French community in Greater Boston, will have a remembrance event Sunday at 11:30am.
The gathering will be held at Cathedral of Holy Cross to remember victims and to pray for peace, according to officials.
Following the terrorist attacks in Paris, a number of New England officials have spoken out in support of Paris.
