A pedestrian has died after being struck Wednesday evening in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood, authorities confirm.
Boston police say the victim, who is in his 80s, was struck near Jackson Square Station and was taken to Brigham & Women's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say it appears to be an accident.
