Police in Worcester, Massachusetts, thwarted a would-be bank robber on Friday afternoon.
Colleen Montvalo, 46, walked into the Leominster Federal Credit Union on 910 Boylston Street and demanded cash from the teller. Montvalo slipped the teller a threatening note and proceeded to yell at the bank worker.
A police officer happened to be working a detail inside the bank while this incident was unfolding. As the suspect turned away from the teller and attempted to run out with a bag of money, the officer stopped her.
Montvalo was charged with unarmed robbery.
