Two teenage friends who'd been missing since they were last seen at a mall in Saugus, Massachusetts, have been found after a two-day search, police said Monday.
The 15-year-old from Melrose and 14-year-old from Wakefield had last been seen Saturday afternoon at the Square One Mall about 2 p.m., Saugus police said, noting the friends might have been going to Rhode Island or New York City for New Year's Eve.
On Monday afternoon, police shared that the pair were found safe in New York City, and their parents were notified.
