A Massachusetts man was arrested in New Hampshire Friday morning after crashing a car and trying to elude police.
Officials in Keene, New Hampshire, tried to pull over a Nissan Maxima on Route 10 near the Keene city line for a traffic violation. The driver went off an embankment on Route 101, hitting vehicles in a parking lot. The man then left the car and ran into the woods.
Trooper Thomas Byrne and his dog tracked the man down. After initially providing the wrong name, the suspect was identified as 26-year-old Gregory Scott of Springfield, Massachusetts.
Scott was found with a large sum of money. He faces multiple charges including: conduct with a deadly weapon, reckless driving, two counts of disobeying an officer, driving after suspension, and four counts of conduct after an accident and possession of a controlled drug.
