Four people were shot early Friday morning in New Haven.
Four people, a 19-year-old woman and three young men between 19 and 22 years old, were shot early Friday morning in downtown New Haven and the young woman is in critical condition.
The shooting happened near Church and Center streets around 3 a.m., hours after Halloween celebrations wrapped up.
The three male victims are 19, 21 and 22 years old, police said, and their injuries are not life-threatening.
Police had blocked several roads off and have since cleared the scene.
“I was shocked. I mean, right Downtown. I mean I know it happens in the city. Right here, right downtown so close to the police station is a little jarring,” Tucker Macgregor, of Hamden, said.
