Authorities are looking for the person who stabbed an 18-year-old to death.

A teenager has died after being stabbed Monday afternoon in Boston's Roslindale neighborhood, according to police.

The stabbing occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Bradeen Street, authorities said. The victim, an 18-year-old, was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Boston Police Superintendent Felipe Colon said no arrests have been made, and authorities do not know how many people were involved in the incident.

"We're canvassing for witnesses, as well as video," Colon said.

Police said the weapon used in the killing has not been recovered.

"I just feel very distressed that young people don’t have respect for life," said Patricia Dunn, who has lived on the street for 40 years. "It's very distressful, and no one seems to have an answer or solution to … stop this epidemic of violence."
