A person suffered life-threatening injuries in a stabbing near an MBTA stop in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, according to Boston police.
The stabbing happened just before 3 p.m. on Dorchester Avenue,, near the Fields Corner MBTA station, police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
"I heard a lot of yelling, and it just got louder, and when I came out, there was a guy, he was running quick down this alley, and then all of the sudden, all of the police pulled up," said witness Tina Smith. "It just freaks me out, because I live here."
Homicide detectives responded to investigate.
Police did not immediately say whether any arrests had been made.
