A New Hampshire police officer who died from his head wound injuries Wednesday night was attempting a stunt at a cook-out, officials said.
Officials said Nashua Police officer Keith Trombley fell when he tried to ride his bike down the stairs during a gathering with other officers at a Pelham home. Trombley, 25, was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Trombley was a full-time officer with the Nashua Police Department for over two years.
Police have not said if alcohol was a factor in the incident.
Trombley leaves behind his parents, siblings and a girlfriend.
