A man who was considered to be armed and dangerous, prompting a large police presence in Stow, Massachusetts, over the weekend, was arrested Monday morning, according to authorities.
Police said Joshua Hinds, 45, was captured in Waltham. He will face multiple charges, police said. Those charges weren't immediately released.
Both the Stow and Needham police departments searched for Hinds Sunday night, a police spokesperson said, and were assisted by the Harvard, Boxborough and Bolton police departments, as well as state police.
According to the spokesperson, Hinds, who was believed to have multiple firearms on him, allegedly waved a gun at someone he knows and made threats to harm himself and others.
