A 14-year-old Vermont girl who was reported missing early Monday morning, along with the family car, has been found safe in New York, Vermont State Police said Monday.
State police said they received a call around 5 a.m. Monday reporting a missing or stolen vehicle from a residence in Walden, located in the northern part of the state. A short time later, the family notified state police that their 14-year-old daughter was also missing from the home.
Police said they used Subaru Starlink GPS services to locate the teen in Hague, New York. She was safe, according to police, but no other details were released.
